Why Biblical Counseling?
2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
New Heart Family believes that it is the Word that cleanses us (Ephesians 5:26) and that God's Word is alive and active, dividing between the soul and the spirit while discerning our thoughts and hidden intents of our heart (Hebrews 4:12). Therefore as the scripture above states it is the Word that instructs us and directs us, New Heart Family uses God's Word to bring the inward transformation necessary for outward change.
New Heart Family uses curriculum provided by Healing Hearts Ministries,International in Bonney Lake, WA and the book, Matters of My Heart to help women start their walk with Jesus Christ. Our volunteer led biblical counseling is provided free of charge and available to any woman seeking to develop intimacy with Christ.
